Across the lawn from the Main Lodge is our two-story country inn, the Lower Lodge. The elegant Lower Lodge was
designed by Cikan Architects of Bozeman, MT, and was completed in August 1996. The Lower Lodge was built to
replace the Green Lodge, a one story motel that had been moved to Chico from Livingston in 1978 to provide
additional accommodations with private bathrooms. The Green Lodge was part of the lodging options at Chico
until the fall of 1995.
The Lower Lodge has twelve contemporary rooms and four suites. Furnished in a simple, modern Western style,
all the rooms and suites have private bathrooms. Eleven of the rooms have two queen beds, and one has a king
canopy bed.
The four suites are all different and described below. All rooms and suites are non-smoking, have
private bathrooms and internet access, coffee pots, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards. Rooms in the Lower
Lodge are pet friendly, with the exception of suite 430. An executive boardroom, conveniently located in the
center of the building, can accommodate up to 24 people for meetings and seminars.
