The Warren Wing is named in honor of a fun, faithful, favorite guest at Chico, the late movie actor Warren Oates.
Warren was one of the many colorful characters that regularly visited Chico in the mid-to-late seventies when the
Art family was finally getting used to their role as innkeepers. Warren's warm personality, ready and willing
helping hand and terrific sense of humor personified the best of the Wild West in a way that symbolizes what is
best and friendliest about Montana - and the Art Family hopes that spirit will live on forever in the Warren Wing
and the rest of Chico. Photographs and newspaper clippings decorate the walls of the first floor.
The Warren Wing, which opened adjacent to the Main Lodge in October 1999, houses 12 contemporary rooms and one suite.
The two-story wing overlooks the front lawn, and is connected to the Main Lodge on the first floor. First floor
rooms have two queen size beds, and second floor rooms have one king size bed. The rooms have subdued contemporary
country furnishings and private bathrooms. All rooms are non-smoking, have private bathrooms and internet access,
coffee pots, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards. Rooms in the Warren Wing are pet friendly, with the exception
of suite 235.
