The Shooting Star Cabin is nestled on the plateau above Chico between the Chico Day Spa and the Honeymoon Cottage. The Shooting Star Cabin was built to accommodate couples wanting a luxurious, romantic and private accommodation. It was also used as a model for what would soon become the North 40 Cabins, a romantic cluster of cottages close to the Lower Lodge. The Shooting Star Cabin is a spacious cottage with a king size bed, mini refrigerator, CD stereo system, vaulted pine ceiling, western furnishings, and inviting decor. The large spa tub in the spacious bathroom adds additional warmth and comfort to your stay. The cabin also boasts a private deck with Adirondack chairs and a breathtaking view of Paradise Valley. The Shooting Star Cabin is named after Jed Steele, winemaker and owner of Steele Wines, and his Shooting Star label. Jed and his wines are long time friends of Chico Hot Springs.
