The Chico Horse Barn offers trail rides providing guests the Montana Experience by horseback. You have the opportunity to become a Montana cowboy or cowgirl for a one-hour trail ride, or make a day of it and have lunch on the trail. Children must be at least 8 years old to go on a trail ride, ages 4 to 7 can enjoy the Pony Experience! Also offering cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in Yellowstone National Park for the snowy season.

One Hour Carriage Ride – a one hour ride in our beautiful carriage, six person maximum. $45 per person age 8 and up. $25 per person ages 4 to 7. Ages 3 and under – free.
The Pony Experience – 30 minutes – Ages 4 to 7 (ability determined by wrangler) – this is a great way for the younger kids to get familiar with horses and have a short walk-around ride as well. Kids will get to pet and feed their pony, and then have a short ride with one of our experienced guides. $25.00

Half Day Ride – ages 8 and over – enjoy a 3-hour ride with one of our guides – snack included. $115
Full Day Ride – ages 8 and over – enjoy a full day horseback ride in Yellowstone National Park with Rockin’ HK Outfitters, lunch included. $225 per person, transportation not included, YNP entrance fee not included.
Catch Your Breath – A trained guide will spend an hour with you and your choice of one of our gentle horses in the field above Simon’s Cabin for an equine facillited wellness hour. This is one-on-one time to groom, pet, learn, photograph and breathe. The horse truly leads this experience, it’s designed to be an hour of connection with you and the horse. $45
