Reservation Policies and Information

Cancellation Policy: 48 hours prior notice for cancellation is required to avoid a charge to your credit card which is equal to one night plus tax based on the rate of the room you reserved (includes early departures). A “no-show” charge equal to one night plus tax, based on the type of room you reserved, will be charged to your credit card if you do not arrive without cancelling.
Guaranteed Reservations: All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit or debit card, or a deposit equal to one night’s stay. The credit/debit card used to hold your reservations is to guarantee your reservation and will not be charged unless you cancel within 48 hours of arrival. Credit card must not expire before reservation date. Reservations made within 48 hours of arrival date must be paid in full at time of reservation.
Minimum age to rent a room at Chico Hot Springs is 21 years of age. Identification will be required to verify age.
Payment types: We accept cash, American Express, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Checks from the state of Montana accepted with valid identification.
Pets: Well-behaved pets (and by pets, we mean dogs) are allowed in many of our rooms with a $20.00 per pet, per stay, fee. Pets may not be left unattended in guest room, guest vehicle, or on the property at any time.
Rates are based on double occupancy except in cottages, houses, or chalets (rates in those units are based on maximum occupancy). For additional individuals (more than two and over 6 years of age) in a room where occupancy warrants, the fee is $12.00 per person.
Internet: Wireless internet access is available in the Main Lodge lobby, Main Lodge Guest Rooms, Lower Lodge, Fisherman’s Lodge, Wine Cellar, Convention Center and Saloon. Internet is free, and provided to allow guests to stay connected, check e-mail, travel plans, etc. Sorry, but the wireless internet at the property does not support high speed access for streaming movies or music.
Please note that you will be asked to supply a credit card scan, vehicle description and license plate number upon check in.
Large Units: If you are staying in a house, cottage, or chalet, upon check-in a credit/debit card approval for the total room/tax for your stay in the unit is mandatory. It is necessary to have a valid credit card on file to rent one of these units. These units are intended for families or small group gatherings with lodging as the primary intent. Any gatherings that exceed the maximum occupancy must be pre-arranged with our Sales Office.
Chico Hot Springs is over a century old! We want you to come relax with us by enjoying what we have and what we don’t have. All of our facilities are heated, however, we do not have air conditioning units in our rooms. We do not have televisions in any of our rooms and most accommodations do not have telephones. While the majority of our rooms have full bath facilities, there are still some rooms in the Historic Main Lodge with just a bed and a sink. Bath facilities are located down the hallway.
