5 stars- 16 October, 2021 We will be back

What a gem!!! Wow we loved it here so much! We took an 11-day trip out west with our 3 kids (8,6,4) & this was my kids’ favorite place- they kept begging us to stay longer or come back again- which we will be back!

We loved the quaint & historic atmosphere. The rooms were clean & just what we needed! (the only downfall was it was hot- we used 2 of their fans & brought one ourselves to cool the room down- but we made it work!) my kids LOVED the hot springs pools! (Some people say the pools would be overcrowded- not the case at all- & we were there fri-sun- it was perfect.) We appreciated food being available right on the property & easily available by the pool.

We loved the coffee & gift shop. We really wish we could’ve stayed here longer to explore more of the amenities & the area. It’s stunning here. We can’t wait to come back!!!

Beautiful location and grounds

We stayed here as a base for daily trips into Yellowstone. Beautiful location and grounds - secluded and quiet. Definitely a throwback - if you don't go in expecting the latest technology/amenities, you won't be disappointed (I loved the nostalgia). We stayed in Fisherman's Lodge and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

No daily housekeeping but just let the front desk know if you need anything. The hot springs pool was sooo relaxing! The Saloon (offers local brews!) and Poolside Grill had excellent food and service but the real highlight was the historic Dining Room (be sure to make reservations well in advance). Amazing dinner selections and desserts, including a flaming orange showstopper. Looking forward to our next visit!

It is truly a gem

Chico Hot Springs Resort & Spa is truly a gem! I treated myself to a birthday weekend here and had the most relaxing time. The hotel has a charming vintage feel—beautifully maintained and thoughtfully renovated to preserve its old-world character while offering modern comfort. The openair spa was a highlight, and even with families and kids around, the atmosphere stayed friendly and peaceful. I didn’t get a chance to try all the restaurants or activities, but I absolutely loved the Saloon and the Poolside Grill—perfect spots for a snack or drink while lounging by the pool. If you’re looking for a little Montana getaway that blends history, relaxation, and fun, I highly recommend Chico!

Incredible Service

Incredible service. I had the luxury of Lizzie assisting me pick out a wine that paired with my scallop dish. Ambience is relaxing with the perfect amount of light. I sat by the front of the dinning room and enjoyed being to see the outdoors while I waited for my meal.

I also indulged in French onion soup and a berry cobbler that I could not finish. The cobbler was served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It was a perfect staycation and I will definitely be back again...soon.

Great Amenities

On this trip to Montana, my siblings and I got to spend more time here. My brother was staying here and my sisters and I took advantage of the amenities. The hot springs: thank you for opening the pool to the public once a week for water aerobics. Jeanie is wonderful! Love the convenience of the poolside bar and the cafe.
The spa: I had a one-hour massage and it was delightful. The spa is quaint and calming. The restaurant: Aiden and Bethany were awesome and made my birthday dinner very special. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. And the flaming orange dessert?!? What a show.

Perfect place to relax and recharge

We stayed here in the middle of our two-day Yellowstone tour and it was the perfect place to relax and recharge in the midst of a busy vacation. While we only got to spend ~12 hours here, I really wish we would have had more time because the resort was absolutely beautiful We had dinner in the dining room and it was one of the best meals I had for the entire vacation! I especially loved that they had a well thought out kids menu - my daughter loved ordering a little mocktail. The food and service were both exceptional.
After dinner, we enjoyed the hot springs. They were much warmer than I thought they would be but felt AMAZING! Can't speak to the other amenities here but looked like there was lots to do. Maybe someday I'll make it back to this beautiful part of the world and get to experience all that Chico Hot Springs resort has to offer!

Worth the side quest

I cannot wait to return with my entire family and be in less of a hurry to have to leave. Even though I didn’t have much time there the stay was wonderful, not too expensive and friendly. I would and have recommended this beautiful place to everyone already!

A well-deserved soak in the springs

After being on the motorcycle through the Badlands, Black Hills, all of Wyoming, and Yellowstone, we were ready for an evening and morning of relaxing in the Hot Springs. Chico provided that! We stayed overnight in the historic inn, and the room price was
extremely reasonable, around $125 a night. The grounds were absolutely beautiful with gardens and flowering trees and shrubs everywhere. There are three eating establishments from which to choose: a poolside grill, the saloon, and the dining room. We had the best meal of our trip in the dining room. The service was spectacular and the food gourmet and delicious! This is a quick drive from the north entrance to Yellowstone and is a great place to find rest and relaxation before continuing on a trip! Highly, highly recommend!
